With over 30% more down fill than the closest competitor and weighing in at a mere 700 grams., the Chamberlin Puffy provides the industry's best warmth-to-weight, highly-packable insulation for the coldest conditions. Utilizing a revolutionary blend of premium, 800-fill down and 37.5 fibers First Lite have created a jacket with greater loft and moisture transfer rates than conventional down jackets. Body-mapped to maximize heat retention and minimize weight, the Chamberlin is engineered with non-sewn-through baffling in the core and a heavily insulated collar and 3D Turret hood that still preserves field of view. Lightweight and compressible, this jacket is the perfect insulator for late-season backcountry hunts. Tricot-lined hand pockets are oriented to the inside of the down fill to protect hands when temps drop, while interior stash pockets provide transparent storage for gloves, hat or a GPS. The exterior of the jacket is treated with a DWR to repel moisture and cut wind while an articulated fit protects range of motion. All of these features come together to make the Chamberlin Jacket the answer for the hunter who demands serious warmth for extended winter season alpine expeditions.

First Lite patterns obliterate the human shape by utilizing a proprietary mix of nature-based algorithms in coordination with disruption and focal confusion techniques. Put more simply, the relationship between colors and shapes has been specially designed to fool the brain by resembling recurring patterns found in nature. Derived from the golden ratio found throughout the natural world, both Fusion and Cipher dissolve into their surroundings unlike anything else.
First Lite Fusion and Cipher are the most versatile patterns available to hunters because both are carefully designed to ensure concealment no matter the proximity, season, or terrain. Created using the same scientific platform and developed by Joseph Skinner, both Fusion and Cipher use proprietary pattern technology which provides equally exceptional concealment at close range and a distance--whether in the trees or on the ground.
First Lite's new Cipher pattern leverages the proven working principals of Fusion and applies them to landscape palettes with less color. Cipher emphasizes the narrower color spectrum found during the autumn and winter months in both hardwood and western environments. With its muted coloration and Fusion-inspired DNA, Cipher is a deadly weapon in every hunter's arsenal.
Fusion has become the most trusted pattern in breakup camouflage. From dry eastern lichen covered rock and tussock land, pine, and to the West Coast bush, the Fusion pattern and color palette are engineered to excel in a vast array of landscapes. Hunters virtually disappear into their surroundings at any distance – short or long – lending confidence and near perfect stealth, whether in the trees or on an alpine ridge.
First Lite Pattern Technology
LARGE SHAPE DISRUPTION
Both First Lite Fusion and Cipher incorporate large regions of light and dark colors to distort and hide the shape of the hunter's body by creating a visual which works against the signature human figure.
SMALL-MEDIUM TEXTURE DISRUPTION
After closing the distance, texture-based disruption is integral to hiding a hunter’s shape and location. A scattering of small to medium-sized elements using the pattern's color palette blend the hunter into his surroundings to ensure prey have a more difficult time visually identifying a threat.
The large and small disruption supports the overall disruptive coloration found in First Lite patterns, which use a set of colors fine-tuned to blend in with the surroundings while contrasting against body outline.
FOCAL AND DEPTH CONFUSION
First Lite Fusion and Cipher use color and nature-based algorithms to confuse the prey's focal vision. The pattern's proprietary design creates a built-in sense of depth which fools the prey's depth perception. Finally, the controlled contrast and disruptive coloration of First Lite Fusion and Cipher distort prey's peripheral vision.
LIGHT AND DARK CRACKLETURE
First Lite patterns incorporate proprietary crackleture which further contrasts against a hunter's body signature. This innovative feature provides the next level of versatility and effectiveness not matched by any other pattern.
